Hy-Vee have an internship position available to assist in the development of our
Sustainability Program. The internship will be from mid-September through mid-December
2009. Located at the West Des Moines corporate office, this position will be for up to 20 hours
per week, with occasional additional time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identifying relevant sustainability issues
• Developing sustainability goals, metrics, and priorities
• Managing projects related to sustainability and environmental compliance (SEC)
• Developing systems used in tracking SEC
• Development of internal and external communications related to SEC
• Monitoring federal/state/local environmental regulations impacting the grocery industry
• Providing administrative support as needed
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
1. An understanding of sustainability issues, environmental policy or environmental science,
together with a working knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
2. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
3. Good verbal and written communication skills
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. College-level sustainability and/or environmental science coursework, or equivalent
experience

I had got a dream to begin my firm, but I didn't have enough of cash to do this. Thank heaven my close friend said to take the <a href="http://bestfinance-blog.com">loan</a>. Hence I took the short term loan and made real my desire.
